Building kits warning

The main warning concerns the many models bought via Temu here.

The author contacted his bank regarding a £53.83 false charge and was reimbursed.

Have heard there are Temu problems.

Beware.

  1. Don't buy too many.  Start small.
  2.
  3. Open one kit at a time.  Build it and move on.

  4. The kits can involve soldering.  Adult males more likely to be successful.  An untested claim.
  5.
  6. DO NOT leave children alone re item 5.

  7. Buy small plastic tubs or boxes which stack.
  8.
  9. Keep left overs.  Some kits provide extras.
  10.
  11. Often when making an item, bits including tiny nuts and bolts, even bits of wood and elastic bands are left over.  Store them.

  12. Consider buying an electronics repair mat  here.
